John Wilkins autograph letter to James Rumsey, [manuscript] 1770 July 28.

Letter to James Rumsey, who managed affairs in Illinois country for Baynton, Morgan and Wharton of Philadelphia and became Wilkins' secretary. Wilkins writes regarding the poor quality of "a cask of spirits" left at Fort Chartres by a Mr. Bradley.
